Paverpol

A textile and decoration hardener! Dip natural materials, such as textiles, in Paverpol. Drape or wrap the material around a wire figure or other armature and leave it to dry. Paverpol dries fast, but slowly enough to allow plenty of working time. After it has hardened, you have created a beautiful decoration or sculpture, which can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

Paverpol adheres to almost all materials, except plastic. The finished projects are rock-hard.

Sculptures made with pre-colored Paverpol like Bronze, Black or Grey can be placed outside after two weeks of curing. Varnish is not necessary. It is important that you have wrapped the sculptures in a way that it is not possible that water can get in between the fabric and the frame. This will prevent it from molding.

Protect Paverpol in its liquid form from frost, once it is hardened however Paverpol can withstand extreme frost. Tools and hands can simply be washed in warm water.

Paverpol is a polymer, it means that natural materials that have been hardened with it might go soft when exposed to very warm surroundings, for that reason make sure every piece of material that is sculpted ‘against gravity’ is supported with either wire, wood, etc., to prevent it from sagging.

Available in Black, Bronze, Grey and Transparent -   1000 gram and 5750 gram containers.

Art Stone

Art Stone can be used in two different ways. You can use it to make self-hardening clay, or you can use the powder to create a stone-look finish to your sculptures.

To make a stone finish, use Paverpol lead color or Paverpol transparent mixed with Pavercolor Siena as a basis. (Of course, you can also mix with other Pavercolors if desired.) You can use a preformed figure of Styrofoam, plaster, paper mache, or kitchen foil covered with masking or floral tape).

Mix the colored Paverpol with the same amount of Art Stone Decoration Powder until the clay is one lump that no longer sticks to your hands.

Cover your form completely with the colored Paverpol. Put the clay fully or partially onto the layer that is still wet—layer thick or thin, coarse or fine, whatever you like. Make sure that the bottom layer is wet. (If needed, apply a new layer of Paverpol using the brush.)

When your work is fully or partially decorated with the clay, scatter some powder over it and rub it in well. Apply some Paverpol with a brush if the base has become too dry. You can also scatter a little Paverpol on the wet layer and rub it afterwards.

This stone effect is not suitable for outdoor objects. If you want to leave the piece of work outside, you can use patina instead of powder, which can be made by mixing white Pavercolor with Josefine gloss varnish. Apply with a brush. Remove the surplus patina with a tissue. Let the work dry and make it glossy with a lint-free cloth.

Paverplast

Simply mix this powder with Paverpol (100 grams for 1 liter) and you can create an indelible sculpting pasta.

This is suitable for creating pieces of work that remain watertight, such as bird basins, fountains, pools, etc. It can also be used to provide sculptures of styrofoam, plaster, self-hardening clay, papier-mâché etc. with a completely watertight layer. Varnishing is not required.

Paverplast mixed with Paverpol can be colored with Pavercolor. Store in an airtight sealable tray as it is an air-dry product. If the Paverplast becomes too stiff, you can add some Paverpol. Do not add water!

Available in jars of 100 and 400 grams.

Wrappers

Wrappers are pieces of cloth that are stretchable. This way you can make a skeleton which is firm and smooth.

Cut 4 pieces of the same size. Use a brush to put one layer of Paverpol onto the skeleton. Wrap it as tight as possible. Put a layer of Paverpol onto the piece of Wrapper.

Should you want to place the object outside put a layer of Paverplast Paste on top of the dried object. This is a mixture of Paverpol and Paverplast powder. Wrappers can also be used to decorate Paverpol statues. Perfect to use for hats and shawls. Dip the Wrapper into the Paverpol. Squeeze it en put it onto the statue. Be careful because you can easily tear it! Even art pieces like paintings, panels, photo frames, boxes, etc. can be decorated by using Wrappers.

Comes in a box of 100 pieces.
